Configuring Gateway Trunks Assignment
(Mitel Integrated Configuration Wizard)

A default trunk profile is created for each trunk type that is discovered by the EX Controller system. These default profiles can also be edited by the user. In addition to the default profiles, the user can create a maximum of two other trunk profiles. You can add new trunk profiles on this page, if you do not want multiple trunks to share the same trunk services.

NOTE: This configuration is only applicable for EX platform.

To create a trunk profile:

  1. Select Gateway Trunks Assignment check box.

  1. Under Trunk Type, select the device type of the gateway trunk discovered by the system.

  2. Under Trunk Profile name, type a profile name.

NOTE: The Profile1 and Profile2 profiles are automatically created. You can also create new profiles for trunk types when needed.

  1. Under Port, type the port number of gateway trunk. The allowed port number range is 5062-5066.

  1. Under Trunk Service Number, type the trunk service number. The trunk service number defines the characteristics of the incoming trunk.

  2. Under COS, type a Class of Service Number.

  3. Under COR, type a Class of Restriction Number.

The trunk profiles that are created are automatically listed under Trunk Profile column. The PLID column lists the trunk types discovered on each slot of the EX platform.

To assign gateway trunks to the trunk profile:

  1. Under Trunk Profile, choose a trunk profile that you want to assign to the gateway trunk.

  2. Click Next to continue.
